Money and Happiness: How Both Are Linked To Each Other ?

Would happiness be possible without financial success? If you ask this question to people, you will get mixed responses. Many people agree, yes, It is possible, but few would also be there who would say, money is necessary for everything. However, they are not wrong; if you see practically, you will find that money is of utmost importance in today's time. It is directly related to people's comfort, health, and happiness. But at the same time, you can't deny that if wealth and resources bring joy, then all millionaires and billionaires would be happy people.

How Is Money Directly Linked To Your Happiness?

Money is widely regarded as the ultimate source of happiness. Many people work long and hard hours to guarantee that they have enough capital to meet their basic necessities. This idea can be seen in how people spend the majority of their time and energy at work rather than relaxing with family and friends. Why do they do so? Let's understand it with an example.

Illness, accidents, misfortune, injury, these are the things that don't come by giving prior information. Anybody can meet with tragedy anytime. If such a thing happens in anyone's life, what would be the most important thing for him/her at that time, wouldn't it be money? Undoubtedly, it is! Be it better treatment, effective medicines, heavy bills of hospitals, all would be accomplished through money only. So your wealth assures that you won't be in trouble during tough times.

Although spending money to meet requirements offers enjoyment and satisfaction to people. If you save the life of any loved one and give him better health and life by spending the capital you have, you will be the happiest person at that time. Working extra hours to supplement one's income makes life more enjoyable. Working overtime without a corresponding increase in pay results in a decrease in worker contentment and morale. As a result, money is a motivating force at work and a source of pleasure in meeting family requirements, and there is a direct link between money and happiness.

What money is incapable of?

True happiness in life comes from being surrounded by loving, caring, trustworthy, honest individuals. These are rare individuals, especially in today's technologically advanced world. In fact, having such a person is considered a blessing. These amazing folks are beyond the reach of money. You can't buy people by spending your wealth.

A great life partner is not something you can buy with money. It is impossible to purchase gorgeous children that are respectful of their parents. No amount of resources can guarantee that a child will be born without a defect. The list goes on and on. According to Myers, there are more than twice as many things that money cannot buy as there are things that money can buy (72). A person may have a gorgeous palace for a home, a fleet of cars, an excellent career, and a thriving business, but he or she lacks well-natured people who love him for who he is rather than what he has.

Conclusion

So, the thing is that money's not everything, but it is one of the most important things in life. You can't deny the fact that it is the support of your tough time. You must dream of earning more, but you should not be addicted to it. You have your family, children, parents give proper time to them as well. After all success, wealth, richness, you can enjoy these things when you have someone to cherish.
